“Mattie’s Front Porch” is a monthly pop-up dining experience by Chef Lisa featuring 5-7 courses of her Low-Country cuisine.
Chef Lisa Brooks has been in the kitchen since she was a little girl. She grew up cooking typical southern foods at the side of her mother, Mable, grandmother, Mattie, and great-grandmother, Tossie.
Her specialties in the kitchen include Southern Coastal and Low Country Cuisine.
She was named 2022 Charlottean of the Year by Charlotte Magazine. She has appeared on the Tamron Hall Show and was a finalist on Food Network’s Chopped.
The Mattie’s Front Porch Dining Series will explore a new theme each month. Chef Lisa wants to celebrate and honor her grandmother, Mattie, and all of her family matriarchs as she takes you on her life’s journey through food.
Expect to be cared for with a warm welcome, smiling faces, amazing food and storytelling.
You will come as strangers and leave as friends.
